In this tutorial, I will explain to you how to back up your iPhone to your Windows computer or, PC. To do the backup, you need iTunes software installed on your windows computer. If you don't have iTunes installed on your computer already, click the below link to download it.

Let's get started:
The first step is to connect your iPhone or iPad to your Windows computer. The Computer would open a window.
You will see a dialog on your iPhone. Click on the "Trust" button on your iPhone in the dialog.
Now on the computer, open iTunes. As soon as you connect your iPhone or iPad to iTunes, the phone icon will be enabled on iTunes.
Now click on the phone icon. You will see the iPhone or iPad summary on the right.
You can back up your iPhone or iPad to your iCloud account, provided you have enough memory, and to your computer or PC.
Under the backups, select, "This computer".
There will be other options as well but don’t change anything.
Now all you need to do is click on the "Back up now" button and the process begins.
This process will take really long time based on the iPhone storage size and your computer speed.
Once the backup is finished, click on done and this is how you can back up your iPhone to Windows PC/desktop.
Now, let’s see the location of the downloaded backup in the computer.
Now Open, this PC. Open C drive.
Click on users. Now click on the logged-in user.
Make sure Hidden folders are enabled.
Open App data and click on Roaming.
Open the Apple computer folder.
Open the Mobile sync folder. Finally, click on backups folder.
This is where all the iPhone or iPad backups are stored in the windows computer.
This backup can be used to restore the iPhone or iPad later using the iTunes software. Currently, you can not see the photos or any media in the backup folder since they are stored in a format only read by ITunes software.
